In a clean sweep the ruling BJP on Tuesday won all the eight assembly seats in Gujarat where by-elections were held dealing a blow to the opposition Congress which had bagged these constituencies in 2017. In Uttar Pradesh the party won six of the seven seats that went to polls. In 2020 President Trump did about the same or better in most states with the exception of Georgia Pennsylvania Michigan Wisconsin Nevada and Arizona.
