Pad Result Has Multiple Solids Freecad. As far as I can tell FreeCAD doesnt really have anything equivalent so assuming thats the case what if any OSS options are there to substitute this aspect of my workflow. The interface looks archaic which put me off a little at first but I found it.
FreeCAD will not be able to determine what to Pad if the shape is not closed A Closed Shape. Part Extrude doesnt care where it is in model tree. Although Sketcher by itself is ok with this concept the Part Design Workbench is conceptualized around designing a single part.
