Get Result List Hibernate. This example is using a basic Foo entity and is very much similar to the JPA. The element is used to set the relationship between Certificate and Employee classes.
It sets the location just before the first result. In this case we need the result from first element of the list. MarkW setFirstResult is used for setting starting point from where take the result from the list.
It looks very much like Cast Hibernate result to a list.
The mapping definitions got more complex in the second part as we mapped the query result to multiple entities and handled additional columns. I think that is what you are looking for. The Criteria API provides the orghibernatecriterionOrder class to sort your result set in either ascending or descending order according to one of your objects properties. I dont know much about Hibernate.
